Tastings are performed blind and scored according to the Wine Enthusiast system. The 95-point ranking adds to the numerous outstanding accolades Trumer Pils has accumulated since 2004 when it was first brewed in Berkeley.

Trumer Pils has been recognized by the Australian International Beer Awards, the European Beer Star, the Great American Beer Festival, and the World Beer Cup. Most recently it won gold at the 2019 Copa Cervezas de América.
